Heather   Harvesting

Heather Harvesting is a method of re-establishing lowland heath in designated areas, including Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). We have undertaken this in various locations under the auspices of English Nature. We use either a cut and collect system or a hydraulically driven brush attachment to collect the seeds which are then sown in the new location
